* Shingles (Shingrix): The programme is being phased in by age. From 1 September 2023, people turning 65 each year become newly eligible, alongside anyone aged 70–79 not yet vaccinated. Once eligible, a person remains eligible until their 80th birthday. Severely immunosuppressed individuals aged 18+ are also eligible. The routine age of entry is being progressively lowered and is expected to reach age 60 by September 2028.

MMRV catch-up: From 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2028, a single MMRV catch-up dose is offered to children born between 1 January 2020 and 31 August 2022 who have not previously had chickenpox or 2 doses of varicella vaccine.

‡ Time-limited adolescent MenB offer: Following the MenB outbreak in Kent in March 2026, a one-off offer of 2 doses of Bexsero (at least 28 days apart) is available to those born 1 September 2007–31 August 2008, and to under-25s born on or after 21 July 2001 who are starting higher education or residential further education for the first time in 2026/27. First doses run from 20 July to 31 December 2026; second doses to 31 March 2027. In England the offer includes community pharmacy walk-in and booked appointments, and those using the education route are asked to bring confirmation of their place. Both doses are needed for protection. The JCVI recommended a future routine adolescent MenB programme at around 15 years of age on 16 July 2026; a government decision is awaited, so this is not yet part of the routine schedule.

§ RSV (ages 65–74 at-risk): From 1 September 2026 the older-adult RSV programme also covers adults aged 65–74 who have chronic respiratory disease, or immunosuppression due to disease or treatment (JCVI advice). A single dose of Abrysvo is given, and adults vaccinated in this cohort are not re-invited for a further dose at age 75. RSV vaccine can be offered at any time of year and may be co-administered with COVID-19 vaccine, but is not routinely scheduled alongside influenza vaccination.
